Lot's of fighting, but no official fights to the death.

In baseball, no.

But back in the Really Olde Dayes, the Rome Lions were undefeated. They packed the Colosseum every time! The place is still there, but it's looking pretty run down.

Honestly, IDK. It would be kind of fun. . . .
It IS true, however, that in Africa, some tribes played a game much like basketball, and the captain of the losing team was beheaded. One captain won 13 games before he got it. That is bad-***, baby! :)

it was the original sudden death overtime, benjamin franklin was commish and changed it to extra innings
