by problem is that many girls in those pagents aren't virgins so girls with babies are just as wholesome as ones without, and they do allow girls to have abortions and compete but not to give birth I find this offensive and unfair

well I think that if she can go through birth and still look good enough to be in that pageant then she deserves to participate. Giving birth's hard! you don't necessarily come out of it looking like a supermodel..

Miss USA has stood for wholesome-ness. I mean absolutely no disrespect in anyway, but if one has had a child, then she is not "wholesome" in the eyes of the pagent rules. And Marriage means the woman is not a virgin (neither does having a child) and years ago a virgin was wholesome.

Now granted, I am sure many of the entrants to the MISS USA pagent are not virgins these days, but they appear to be wholesome.

My question to you is, why does tradition have to be tainted because someone broke the rules. Tradition is going the way of the Do-Do Bird. Let some tradition stand. SOMEONE can make another pagent that includes beautiful moms and wives. I have no problem with that, but let tradition stand.

I can see if she was married then she wouldnt be Miss she would be Mrs. But to have a baby and not beable to compete i think thats wrong.

Even if they are running around in bikinis, they're still role models to some degree.
