Why does my fiance always threaten to leave(break up) when we have a fight?

He will say things like "I'm sick of this sh-t i'm leaving" or "thats it i can't take this any more" then i get the silent treatment for a day or so then hes fine.But we never talk or resolve the problem he just acts like it never happened till the next fight then he may bring it up again.I never yell or fight dirty i just would like us to work out any problems/disagreements we may have.

get some therapy and dont get married till you work on that!!
