Take a washcloth and wet one corner and then stick the whole thing in the freezer. Then he can grip the non-frozen part and chew on the frozen part.

Massage his bottom gums with your finger. My (6 month old) daughter loves it when I press pretty hard and even kind of scratch at them.

My son is also four months and teething. My pediatrician told me to give him Tylenol. I also use natural teething tablets and drops, and teethers that you put in the refrigerator.

I also started taking a wash cloth, getting it wet and putting it in the freezer for about 10 minutes. My son loves to chew on it. I just gave him a bite biscuit today also and he loved it! Although it is very messy and you have to stay with him the whole time he has it.

Good Luck!

Wet frozen washcloths are amazing. The teething tablets are also wonderful. Sometimes a little tylenol helped out. Good luck.

I used Hylands teething tablets (you can get them at Walmart or pretty much anywhere) They are natural which makes me feel better. I also would roll up washrags, wet them, then freeze them. She loved to chew on them. You can also alternate motrin and tylenol every 3 hours. I never found orajel to help much since it pretty much wiped off as soon as she slobbered.

Hyland's Teething tablets are amazing, and you can give them to him quite often. They're all natural, as well.
