I am from Israel and my mother and father were killed there when I was 12. When I was 13 I lost the rest of my family. So the most influenced person in my life was my Rabbi. He has helped me to grow up and to face life head on. He taught me to be true to myself and others. To be open minded. To not get caught up in drama and mind trips. Just be myself and do not worry what other people think. Sometimes it is hard because there are still people who hate Jewish people. But I just try to look pass that and not lower myself to their level. Life is not about hate, its about living. When you hate you are killing your self. But when you love you are adding more years to your life and are at peace with yourself.

My grandpa. He was truly the corner stone of our family and when he died we lost a bit of ourselves. He was always honest, and told it the way it was, and alway kept my grandma in check(she can be a b**** sometimes)
He was my hero. *sniff*
