I always do. 1. Because I never get votes either. 2. Because I get 3 points for it. =] 3. Because I wouldn't like it if someone's answer I didn't like got the best answer,
That's just my reasoning. And I go by it! :D

I don't like to put the answers to voting because in general the first answers, that are not necessary the best ones, get more votes. Sometimes is very hard to choose a best answer but life is full of decisions. Or not?

Oh I always close out my questions. I'd feel horribly guilty if I didn't. I figure if I'm going to ask and pray that people will answer, I wanna read every answer and comment on the great stuff people say! That's the fun of the site. Otherwise..... it is rather useless. You have to close them out. Not for the points..... but just to tell that special answerer how much they helped you, made you laugh or made you think!! :)

I am the biggest nerd too. It's fun to choose a best answer, and since so many people always answer, I have to give one of them major props.

It's cool to always choose a best answer- you get 3 points for choosing and you get to give someone else 10 points for a Best Answer. And it is always a thrill to get those emails that your answer was chosen as the best.

Usually, it gives you three points back. Putting it into voting can produce some strange and inconsistent results, and often the wrong answer can win.

Everytime I ask a question- which is quite often. I don't like putting my questions to vote because it is less fun than choosing yourself.

I usually do out of appreciation for those who took the time to answer. But sometimes I get on after a few days and one has been chosen for me. I try to though!

its rare for u to see a perfect answer, the one provides all the answers, everything ur lookin for as a responsible asnwer because ppl just say stupid stuffs all the time, or even they try to make it good, they too lazy to give it their best, too lazy to type all the explanation and all that stuff
