I'm in the market for a new laptop and was considering building my own. Does anyone know if it is any cheaper or easier to build your own?

It depends on the laptop, like msi are harder than Clevo and Compal.

If you are interested, i custom build laptops, and if you buy one from me, you would already be saving money,

just message me if you are interested.

Its going to be a lot harder building a laptop than building your own desktop and will end up costing you a bit more than you would, if you bought a off the rack system. But you can take pride in the fact that you put it together yourself.

Leave the building process to the pros. It's way to easy to fry out a mother board for a laptop, and they're really expensive when you have to eat it.

You can not build a laptop.

Motherboards, CPU cooling and cases are custom designed. GPU is on the motherboard.

The best you can do is to pick the base unit and change the memory or the hard drive.

you can't build a laptop unless you're a computer engineer which is still hard, you gotta buy laptops
