1932, 1936,1940, and 1944. He died only about three months after the beginning of his fourth term.

Franklin Deleno Roosevelt. This was during World War II i believe. It was because of him , presidents could only have two terms as presidency after that. Before, they could have as many terms as they want, but they followed what George Washington did, serving only two terms of presidency.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Although, he did not get to finish out his final term because he died in office during it. It was after this that a constitutional amendment was passed limiting presidential candidates to serve only two terms.
