I'm Catholic and God is neither white or black or any other color and God has no gender either. Im not sure what religions you are talking about.

I believe you are referring to the graven images which you have seen. Those images are not true. Those are only beliefs of the Catholics who are not considered a true religion because they are making images as their God.
The true God is in heaven. He is the living God. He prohibits the graven images to be made as God. But the catholics insist on it saying that it is the replica of God but nobody of the human beings have seen God, so the pictures, images which you have seen are fake images of God.

white people think GOD is white...Africans believe GOD is black...native Americans who believe in GOD see HIM as red...the truth is that GOD has no color. HE is a spirit and must be worshiped in the spirit. GOD created us in HIS image...that does not mean we physically look like HIM, who has no physical body and therefore no physical appearance...it means we have a spirit and a soul, among other things.
