The 4.3 is a good motor i used to have a 94 silverado w the 4.3 and i used it to pull a 63 biscane which hade a corvett V8 it was sluggish but it did the job then i got a 95 w 5.7 BIG differance. if ur pullin stuff.......... upgrade

Best answer is in the owner's manual. Or check with local Chevy dealer. Too many variables to answer simply: Manual or auto? 4X2 or 4X4? Any load in truck bed? Hilly or flat?

hope this helps, i have the same type of truck, i pull a 1964 chevy on a tralier up and down the hills like a champ if you pull often keep you oil changed and check your tranny fluid

it depends on whether it is on a trailer and what type of trailer it is. usually it will pull as much as a 350 small block will.

4.3 are tough it can pull all you want it to pull. watch rpm and go
