my best friend is getting into fights at school and its really scaring me. ive told him how i felt about it, but he just got mad at me then and told me " you cant tell me what i can or cant do! stop caring about me and leave me alone!" so now i dont know what to do about this! i need major help!

Don't even bother with your friend anymore, because if he's doing illegal things then you may get in trouble right along with him it's called distancing yourself from...but always let him know that you are truly his friend.

I agree with Ebonee. He wont stop doing drugs, thats his choice, its what he wants to do in his life right now. If he gets himself in trouble then he will learn from his mistakes, its all an experience he wants to go through right now. And he may grow out of it, maybe maybe not depending how wise he is. Its when you're in school when drugs become more of a popularity stunt and he's mixing in with other crowds. You should definately distance yourself from him so you too dont get into trouble, and im serious. I dont want anything to happen to you because of him. How you want to distance yourself is your choice. Maybe when he sees he's losing moral friends he'll stop doing it. But the facts are, theres nothing you can do about it, you will just have to accept it and its your decision on how you want to handle it. When I was in High school, I personally abandoned my friends who did drugs. Any one of my friends who was against the law I did not want to have anything to do with. I would still spend time with them but there comes a time when you have to decide what is right and what is wrong. Do this for YOU, not for him. You have a bright future and stick with it, do good in school, give yourself a future and a purpose in life. You matter the most. Its always good to help others, I strongly encourage it and this is the help you are asking for but girls have a hard time convincing guys not to do something unless hes in love with you. Theres not much you can do for him, Im sorry, so do what you can for yourself. Accept it, or abandon it.

You don't need help, you're looking for approval.
You KNOW what to do. He told you the thing to do, "stop caring about me and leave me alone".
That's the best advise you'll get on this one.

honey you cant help. only a doctor can these fight go back to some thing that happened to him in the past. this is what helps deal with it. suggest counseling. or he will be in jail and then what, he might get killed.

You cannot make choices for another person, unless you are their parent and you are responsible for them.
You need to leave him alone and let him make his own choices, that is what he asked you to do, so do so.
