1. Dallas - up until we found out that an entire season(!?) was a freakin' dream! Okay, we got Bobby back, but this show would eventually became a shadow of itself by its declining seasons.
2. Knots Landing - The show was new and fresh in the first season; then, in season two, came Abby!... the show would never be the same. And then, skip ahead a few years, Donna Mills left. Great story-lines: Karen's grief after Sid's death; Karen and Diana's strained relationship; Gary's alcoholism;
Laura and Richards relationship; Gary and Abby's affair; Val and Gary's marriage(s) and divorce(s); Val and the twins; Olivia's addiction; Laura's death; Karen and Mack, from the moment they set eyes on each other, to the end of the series...woh... remember the time Karen surprised Mack at the office, dancing for him, wearing sexy unmentionables?
3. Falcon Crest - From what I remember, this show was good, but just tried so hard to be like its competitor's throughout its seasons, i.e. the introductions of Richard Channing(Greg Sumner), then later, Michael Sharp(J.R. Ewing).
4. Dynasty - ...?... I watched this show off and on, off and on, off and on... it may have been a good show for a while, but by the time Fallon(#2) got abducted by aliens... well, I could have cared less about this show. And there was actually a couple of reunions; some characters returned, or just showed up, some, that we probably wanted, or needed to see, did not show up at all; storylines where left open, unexplained, or(what?), forgotten entirely.
Okay. Now that my critique is over, I guess my choice is, KNOT'S LANDING

I was a big fan of Dallas and it's spin-off Knots Landing.
Have a lovely rest of the evening.

All as undesirable as one yet another....different than for one's magic element....J.R. Ewing! even with the couple of seasons of Pam's "Bobby's ineffective" dream in Dallas, and the "Is it or isn't it Jock back from the ineffective?" rubbish, Larry Hagman made the full element watchable.
