I've got a scorpio ascendant w/ pluto conjunct ascendant, so I'm kinda guilty of staring people down too lol =)

Analyzing you to find out your faults. They also listen to every detail you give them. They are surveying you to find out if you are real or not real. Of course they don't look away, they can't! They are looking for hidden clues and they also take whatever you give them at face value. They look beyond. They are interested in you and are looking for weakness and faults so they know how to deal with it.
They are the memorizing sign. they are memorizing every body language, every word, and to see if it matches up with what you portray.

No they don't! My sister is a scorpio and she can't stay still for one minute! All the people I know NEVER stares.
