I've always had a special feeling about a 1956 sci fi movie called Forbidden Planet. Starring Walter Pigeon, Anne Francis, and Leslie Neilsen, it had (for the time) spectacular special effects, a terrific electronic musical score and a setting and characters inspired by Shakespeare's The Tempest. Great sci fi movie from that era.

A time-travel story with no paradoxes. Logical plot (if you suspend your disbelief that time travel is not possible). Great action.

Past movie was "Warning Signs" an HBO movie, I would say around 1984. It's very hard to find.

I liked Them, the 1950s movie about giant ants, I didn't recognize the actors, but it was part detective story part monster movie.
