Yes, for sure. One time, a doctor in an emergencry room shook my hand after putting his hands down his pants. Then he had to touch my leg and all that. Ickie!

I usually do not shake hands. I also carry hand sanitizer and use it when I do, right away. I really do not care it anyone likes it or not. I have not had a cold or the flu in over a year and I do not plan on getting either now.

hhaa -- laughing from haroula's answer--I used to kiss my dogs, too.--on the head, not the mouth. haha. Don't have a doggie right now, though.
But back to your question, I don't really think much about it-- there are germs everywhere. If I feel I need to , I have wet wipes in my car and use one of them. I just wash my hands when I get home usually anyway.

Yes, and that's why I HATE shaking people's hand's !! Plus I'm a woman, and to me, shaking hand's isn't very lady like. It's more of a guy thing......

No I usually don't give it too much thought but it is certanly a good idea to wash your hands as much as possible to help prevent colds.
