You're out of luck if you don't have a floppy drive. Why do you want to put your document on a floppy ??? Your choice is to put the document on a cd or a usb flash drive. Every PC will have a cd-rom drive and usb port. If you still want it on a floppy, just copy it to cd or flash drive, took it to school/work or a friend house and transfer it to a floppy. You can also buy an external floppy drive if that's what you want.

Since you are on the internet and Documents are not usually that big send the document in a email to yourself and save it on your yahoo account. Go to a library or a PC that has a floppy and save it to a disk there. You may have heard of read writable cd's. Floppy Disk drives are very affordable.

Hello; If your PC is new enough to have Win Media Ctr edition, and no floppy (that's actually a good thing!) it should've come with a flash card reader! You can store a lot more on an SD or Compact Flash card, than a floppy... and more convenient (smaller, more durable, etc) if your machine has no multi card reader, then when you buy yourself a SD flash memory card, buy a reader (just put the SD card into the reader, then plug the reader into one of your USB ports, and there you go!), there are also multi card readers that you can put on your desktop... these are all relatively cheap... try going to www.pricewatch.com; they'll list the stores that carry them, and show you the cheapest first!
If you need to know if your machine has a multi card reader, go to the manufacturers website, and check your machine's specifications. Oh, the cards are getting cheaper all the time, and the readers are also very cheap!
I hope this helps!

USB flash drives (also known as USB drives, key drives, pen drives or thumb drives) are NAND-type flash memory data storage devices integrated with a USB (universal serial bus) interface.
USB flash drives offer potential advantages over other portable storage devices, particularly the floppy disk. They are more compact, generally faster, hold more data, and are more reliable (due to both their lack of moving parts, and their more durable design) than floppy disks. These types of drives use the USB mass storage standard, supported natively by modern operating systems such as Linux, Mac OS X, Unix, and Windows.

You can get a really cheap usb flash drive for about $10.00. Everyone anymore, sells them, Walmart, etc.
Heck you could probably find some in Quik Shops by the keychains. I don't have floppy either. It's much easier using a USB drive, hang it on your keychain with your car keys and go.
If you're only going to use it for documents get a 32 megabyte drive. Even TigerDirect has them cheap.

You can purchase an external floppy drive. They connect via a USB port. Cost is usually around $30. You can find one at places like Office Depot, Staples, etc.

You computer doesn't have a floppy drive because they are severly outdated.
Blank discs... you mean CDs? If your computer has a CD/DVD burner (CD-RW or DVD-RW) you can just get a blank CD or DVD from any tech store and burn your files onto it.
You can also use a flash (thumb) drive... or transfer your file over e-mail?
