Serious answer for a serious question - it is possible but probably unlikely. There can be sperm in the pre-ejaculate so that makes it possible but less likely. It only takes one but if you're still nursing that's probably what's delaying your period. Without more info like if you are still nursing or how long you bled for after delivery and what, if any, birth control you are on it's hard to say more. Some women go up to 6 months without a period if they're nursing full time so I would say don't worry about it just yet. However, if it would ease your mind you could always do a home test. It took me 3 months after my first before I actually had a period and I was nursing full time and on the mini-pill (which can affect your period). If you're worried about getting pregnant, then ask for the mini-pill while you're nursing but as soon as you're done nursing, get another form of birth control because the mini-pill is meant only for nursing mothers. Best of luck and breathe a sigh of relief.............

you didn't say if you were breatstfeeding. If you are, your period won't return until you stop breastfeeding. But you absolutely could get pregnant, which is why most doctors will put you on the mini-pill after you give birth. I would take a pregnancy test in about 5 weeks to make sure. But in all honesty, you probably aren't pregnant so soon after the bleeding stopped from giving birth

Not nessacarily some people take a while before there periods return to normal. Anywhere from 6 weeks or longer Although unprotected sex probably dosent help. They say breast feeding helps with not being able to get pregnant again so easily, but not 100% effective. I would suggest you take a test, and then take another one in a few weeks. Sometimes hormones take a while to settle down after giving birth! Good luck!

A friend of mine just had a baby 10 weeks ago also. She returned to having unprotected sex (the pull out method) immedietely and got preganant again. According to her doctor, a woman is extremely fertile after having a baby because the acids in the vagina that normally make it harder to conceive are temporaily gone. So yes you could be. probably should get some condoms or something for a while.

ABSOLUTELY!!!! Regardless of wether you are breastfeeding, or when he pulled out, how far he was in you when he ejaculated (my God Nate, you need to contact your previous partners... and hope there aren't too many little nate's running around). Despite all of the contraceptives in the world, you CAN DEFINATELY be pregnant. Nothing is 100% positive birth control besides not doing it at all. As a matter of fact, you are most fertile around eight weeks after birth. Go directly to your OBGYN (Baby doc) and get a blood test. Or your nearest ER. Do not rely on a stick, you need a doctor to advise you on your next steps. Having pregnancies back to back can make you very ill. For example, depression, exhaustion, miscellaneous very awful infections just to name a few..Technically you are to give yourself at least ten months of recooperation for your body after each pregnancy to let your insides, hormones and outsides to get back to normal. You may need extra medical care at this time. Especially if you have been taking pain meds during a possible pregnancy.. You have a lot to take care of pretty quickly I think. If you have a new babe inside you right now, it is feeding off of a very exhausted and out of shape host (due to recent birth) If you are nursing, you will have two taking from you. Your body will depreciate quickly without care very soon. Maybe lay off the intercourse until you are sure. Pull out method DOES NOT WORK. You just get lucky sometimes that's all. Wishing you the best of luck!

Unfortunately yes....you COULD be. But, before panic sets in you should think about THIS.....
Many women don't get a regular period for quite some time after giving birth...especially if you are breast feeding. The best thing to do is get to a doctor and have a pregnancy test, (or just buy one at the drug store and test yourself.)
As for the "withdrawal" method, that is never 100%, even if he pulls out way before ejaculation. Most men produce "pre-ejaculate" which can be just as potent as full ejaculate, and they can't even tell when it is coming out.
Bottom line....don't panic...get tested just to be sure. Worrying won't make your period come any quicker, ya know! :)
Good Luck!

It's technically possible for you to be pregnant. If you're not breastfeeding you can expect a period soon. If you are, it might come any time now, or it might not come until you stop breastfeeding. However, if you think you might have gotten pregnant again, wait 3 weeks after the sex you're concerned about and take a pregnancy test; that's plenty long enough for an embryo to implant and start pumping hormones into your bloodstream.

Do not assume that just because your husband pulled out before he ejaculated that you might be safe. There is still semen in the pre-ejaculate as well, and though not in the same quantites it can still be enough to get you pregnant. As has already been said, check with your doctor.

Yes, you can certainly be pregnant. My Dad and my Uncle are exactly 9 months apart to the day.
However, based on the fact that you have not had your period in 8 weeks, I think you need to call and ask your Doctor about that. Not post it on Yahoo.
Don't they talk to you about this stuff at the hospital? Or give you literature to bring home?

You absolutely could be pregnant, but for your sake I hope not. If you are breastfeeding, your period usually won't return until your baby starts taking solid foods. If you are bottle feeding, your period should return any time now.
