need info on grants or help w/ loans?

By "have no credit", do you mean that you have no debt? Everyone has a credit rating of some sort. Do you mean to say that your credit rating is very low or that you don't owe anything? Are you gainfully employed? If so, that's good because you have a steady stream of income and could rent an apartment. This may not be a good time for you to purchase property.

Finding a loan at a reasonable interest rate may be very difficult for you. But you need a place to live so you might consider investigating rentals for now.

It is almost impossible for someone to not have any credit at all, especially if your are old enough to be a mom. Bills and records have been created in your name and social sucurity number. You can go to

You can go to your city's social services and find out if there are any local programs that you might qualify for. You could also talk to a realtor to find out if there are any Government programs that you could apply for.
