Ok, you get two drinks out of the frig, say a can of coke and a bottle of water or a bottle of juice and water. You put both drinks in a glass with ice, why is it the water always keeps the ice longer then the other drinks.

Steve is exactly right. You will also note that diet Soda keeps its ice longer because there are few molecules of the sweetener than there are of sugar in the non-diet.
For the same reason, water freezes faster than Soda and diet Soda freezes faster than non-diet.

The solutes in the Coke or juice lower the freezing point of the drinks, and that means that the temperature of those drinks are lowered versus water. But the greater difference in temperature with that of the room means that heat is transferred faster.

Takes longer for the h2o/ice system to reach a temperature above freezing b/c of the high specific heat of water.

It is physically a chemical change but what do I know, I am six months old and I need a Diaper change. Don't melt the ice , put it in a cocktail.
