Come on you fibbers you.
Everyone wants to be liked. Well, at least 99% of the population. Acceptance by our peers is very important in human nature.
Give me a break all you nay sayers!
Yes, I want to be liked, admired, and respected. If that means popular, well, then that too.

Well me and my awesome friends we're popular. (It kinda helps that I'm a model and actress) We enjoy it and it's fun because all eyes are on us and people are so envious of us but it's hard. It's hard because we always have to have :
-the coolest clothes
-the best attitudes
-best sense of humor (even though we can be a little mean sometimes)
-staying confident 24/7
-we can never have a bad day and take it out on someone
-we have to do almost everything together (but being independent and doing what you like to do is totally cool, there's a balance)
-we have to get into almost everything we sign-up for (but we're so cool that even if we don't get into something people still love us
-everyone has to LOVE us
-getting good grades (but not being nerdy about it)
-be athletic (in some way)
-staying fit (which itsn't a problem for us since we join alot of sports)
There's alot of pressure to be perfect and we have to impress almost everyone. We were honestly just born with it. But we're cool like that!!! :-D

It did when I was in school, but now since I am an adult I don't care about something as silly as popularity. I find myself popular enough with my husband and family.

A few years before to tell you the truth I was quite teriffied of being low on the social ladder but it does not matter, I found out. I enjoy my life the way it is.

When I was younger, it did. I'm an old fart now and since I've turned 50, I truly don't give a rat's behind whether or not people like me or what they may/may not think about me...age tends to free a person up somewhat!

I have found it is much more personally satisfying to have a few close friends that I truly care and truly care for me than to be "popular" and have many "friends" that care little for the true you.

Not especially. All I really hope for is to be liked and respected by the people I like and respect.
I don't give a rip what anyone outside that circle thinks of me.
