I live in Oklahoma, i want to see if the people suing me(debt collector) have passed the statue of limitations but when I look them up it says 4 things,Oral
Agreements , Written
Contracts, Promissory
Notes , Open
Accounts . I have done none of these things with this company,does anyone know how i can find out what it is?(statue of limitations)

EVERY debt fall into one of those categories. If you post some information about the debt they are trying to collect, we may be able to tell you which one applies to your case. Credit cards usually fall under 'Open Accounts'. Car loans and mortgages are 'Promissory Notes'.

Unless you have signed something with your doctor or other medical providor, it is an open account.

If you have not yet found the right stature, look under "limitations of actions". That is where you find statutes of limitations.

ok so you have a debt collector trying to get money out of you basically you need to pay them and be done with them otherwise you ahve to wait seven years with out contact with them and if they sell the debt to another company you have to wait seven years with that company so just pay them and be done with it if you call them up and say hey lets make a deal then they might take less money then you actually owe them
