Black people of Louisiana, like Haitians are creole. The Creole people of Haiti and Louisiana developed their cultural identities together around the same time period.

The Creole of Louisiana are a mix of many ethnicity's including but not exclusive to African (of various slave lineages), French, Spanish, Native American, and English. My sense is that the Creole of Haiti are less diverse in their background and are more African then the Creole of Louisiana.

That's an interesting question. I don't think that they're from Haiti, but many of them look very much like Haitians, which I suspect indicates a common heritage. I think it has to do with the French influence: there's an innate attitude of superiority there; the New Orleans blacks are the quintessential French waiters.

The historic previous of Hispanola, the Island shared with the help of Haiti and the Dominican Republic, is a tragic one quite for Hatians. while the Spaniards first got here and settled there became, as you may think of, a poor massacre. Many African slaves have been introduced there and at last a great sort of race mixing happened. via bigotry and racism Dominicans and Hatians have been divided even however they share a similar blood that's a mix of the Taino Indians who lived there and the Spaniards and Africans who have been introduced as slaves. Apparantly Hatians have extra African blood than Dominicans or perhaps at present there is bigotry in the direction of Hatians and downright racism from lighter skinned Dominicans in the direction of Hatians. I have not got any thought what to label them by way of fact they seem to be a mixure of three diverse peoples. IMO they could desire to all awaken and spot one yet another by way of fact the bretheren they actually are.

Many Black Americans in Louisiana genetic makeup may include West African, Native American, Spanish, French, Asian, German, European, or Russian, all in which a dynamic culture has evolved and has made a significant contribution to today's society.

I think they are mostly African Americans. They have very different accent from the Haitian Americans. And they are in U.S longer than most Haitian Americans.

Alot of them, but not all of them. Some slaves were resold from other states such as Virginia and North Carolina to slave owners in Louisiana.
