Why do Bushies always ask such asinine questions? (But I think you're just kidding around to get a rise out of people.)

We are not anti-Christian. That is a fallacy the right wing want people to believe. I am not Christian, but my parents are. I, personally, don't need religion shoved down my throat. I don't care who died on any cross. I won't be brain washed by anyone. They can kiss my ***. In fact when Jerry Falwell died I sang like the munchkins of OZ.

"He's gone where the goblins go,
Below, below, below
YO HO, Let's open up and sing,
And ring the bells out."

Oh, and by the way, Jesus was a liberal. What conservative would say things like, "Blessed are the meek for they will inherit the earth," or "Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called children of God". See? I'm not even Christians and I know these things. The self righteous indignant hypocrite right wing have got you brain washed, stiff necked and bamboozled. Swing to the left, my brother. Swing to the left like every other rational human being. Jesus was a liberal.

If you are going to base your opinion of all democrats on a couple of their more extreme examples, then you are the one with the problem.

As a Democrat and a Christian, I find your assumptions to be offensive. I think the Right is trying to use religion as a wedge to drive our nation apart.

Asnwer me this: the Bible specifically says, all over the place, and in the words of our Savior, that we should do everything we can to help the poor. "Whosoever does this for the least of these, has done it for Me." So why do Republicans, who claim to be so Christian, have such a dim view of social justice and support for the poor? Why are they against health care for all? Why are they against anyone who doesn't fit into their narrow view of what's right?

Perhaps, instead of questioning my faith, you should examine your own. I'd start with re-reading the Gospels and, with every chapter, think about what Jesus is saying and whether that fits with what the GOP is trying to accomplish.

You might find that social justice is a much bigger part of Jesus' teachings than are things like abortion, homosexuality, or immigration.

But I doubt that you will actually do this: narrow-minded people don't really WANT to be enlightened.

It is not that the Democrats oppose Christianity at all. As a matter of fact, many are very spiritual people. The problem is that governments such as the present one are trying to use religion to push through their agenda. This is one of the reasons why the founding fathers, who wrote up the constitution and founded this country, made it very clear that government should stay out of religion and vise versa. This is called "the separation of Church and state" and it was instituted for the very reasons we see today.

Uh-huh... how is Ellen Anti-Christian?

Never really seen her lash out against Christianity. In fact when Jerry Fartwell called her "Ellen Degenerate", she brushed it off like it was nothing.

To infoman: Show me where, in the Constitution, it says the words "separation of church and state". You can't because it's NOT there. The founding fathers wanted to make sure there was no "national religion" because they wanted people to be free to worship in whatever way they chose. It's called freedom of (NOT from) religion, it IS in the Constitution. Many democrats lash out at Christianity because religion doesn't fit into their lifestyles. How can you support gay marriage or abortion and believe in the Bible? You can't.

What is Christianity anyway? Someone super clever turns around to fill in the vac *** of our doubts. We were created by Nature/GOD who never showed up.So a clever guy called Jesus decided to be the only son/messenger of GOD. And we all have to follow him. He even had no father by miracle. Amazing what brainwashing could do to mankind. Why do Christan's go to war and bomb people? Because no one truly believe in all these bible story.

Christians are way too rigid for Democrats and liberals.

They demand accountability.

They demand high moral standards.

They demand that people take responsibility for their actions and themselves.

They expect fairness.

They honor life.

They beleive that they should strive to be the best they can.

Darn those waco Christians!

Why are you accusing an entire group of people of something based on two examples. That's like accusing all Republicans of being Triumphalist war-mongers based on Bush and Cheney!

Rosie and Ellen are so self-centered and materialistic that they don't care about anyone else's ideas or values.
