more rain would help the temp. go down right, just thinking about it.

Not necessarily. Just because the green house gases are making the temperature in our atmosphere increase, and causing weather to change all over the world, like the ice caps and glacial recession. If the water levels in the ocean increase which would cause a change in the water temperature. This change in water temperature will have a major affect on the weather. Rain doesn't necessarily make the temperature go down, you have to take in all other aspects like the humidity, wind, the temperature before it rained and while it's raining. It also depends on where you are in the world.

So to answer your question, generally no, rain doesn't make the temperature cooler. Because temperature and green house gases are two separate things and other factors play into the reduction in temperature.

Some of the latest thinking is that the oceans' current stop or change. Th south gets warmer and the north goes into a mini ice age.

nope..... when the ice melts the oceanic current will stop causing an ice age at the northern hemisphere
