My mom makes AUTHENTIC Mexican food, like no other!!! I'm glad I've learned her techniques, but I still love it when she makes her Sopa Tarasca; which is a blended creme of beans & chipotle, sooo awesome! and of course Enchiladas Suizas or Chiles Rellenos.....Hell to the yes!!!!!

My Mom can't cook... but my Grandma makes the most wonderful vegetable soup. She cooks it in a pressure cooker. She preserves many of the veggies out of her garden, and makes soup out of them in the winter. It is a sure cure for winter blues. I suffer from SAD, so it's almost medicinal for me.

I haven't been at home to have my mother's cooking in many years but my favorites were her macaroni and cheese and her beef stew. Thanks for the memories.
