Exactly, schools and churches are forced to train babbling parrots and keep quiet about what really counts.

Well,
Churches... yes, they just want their adherents to give the "right" answer.
While Schools giving you a "way", a "way" for your future. And what schools give is an option, an option that you can pick one [or more] or not picking any of them.

If you think that schools just want their adherents to give the "right" answer, it's your teacher false,
what they do should be telling you what you should do and what shouldn't, not what you had to do and what you must not do.

They both train individuals to have a similar mindset as the rest of society, for better or worse. Thinking similarly to the rest of society is actually quite advantageous. A small example is the movies, eg: Anchorman. Every time you and your friend laugh at the same joke, maybe when Burgundy is talking about the 'gun show', its because you think in similar ways.

No schools and chruches are not the same... schools prepare you for the future, they give you a role in society, you learn about science, math, history, art etc etc at school, it allows you to explore your mind and seek all the possibilities and make the most of your life...in a way schools prepare you to think logically and rationally........

Churches on the other hand prepare you for a life after death, its more biased and focuses only on a single topic "god" which in a sense brainwashes, and teaches you to rely on faith as oppose to logical thinking, churches do not bother teaching us anything outside of its 4 walls.

No, they are completely different. At schools teachers are not aloud to talk about what religion they believe. At churches you pray to your God. They both want you to give the "right" answer, yes, but in church it is what you believe, and at school it's what you are taught. Yes, you are taught at church but it's what you believe and not just how to do this and how this or that happened.

School is mandatory, Church is voluntary
School = facts, Church = faith
School = success in life, Church = success after life

Of course, if one goes to a private church-school they would be very similar.

We would hope they aren't alike. In school we're supposed to be given information in order to make our own judgements (I know, this doesn't always happen without opinion...). Church is a place where we go to be taught about faith, which has nothing to do with information.

In some countries.

In the U.S. the first schools were brought there to promote religion.

So the similarity is bound to be there.
