I saw on www.ecomagination.com that they are helping lower CO2 emission's in some vehicles. What does this mean?

Emissions are gasses that are given of as a by product. In this case, CO2 is a by product of combustion in engines. By lowering CO2 emissions in cars, they are reducing how much CO2 is in the exhaust.

CO2 means carbon dioxide which is a gas that causes global warming.
Lowering CO2 emission's in some vehicles mean using filters and chemical reactions in those vehicles to prevent the gas from being released in large amount in the atmosphere.
