Probably don't need to burp anymore.....depends how gass they are. Gosh the diaper question is really a hard one, at least every two hours, really depends on the child. I just my sons diaper OFTEN because I don't want him to sit in a wet diaper or poop diaper and get diaper rash.

change the diaper according to the babys poop or peepee! Every child is different and every child eats less or more than the other. I wouldnt put the baby to sleep right after the baby drinks from a bottle at 9 months w/out burping him/her. If the baby is up, you really dont have to.

sucking on the bottles makes kids very gassy

I would burp her if she is going to lay down. However if she sits after or is crawling playing it´s not necessary. How often do you need to change her 6-8 times a day perhaps more like if she´s teething and has the runs. If you want to cut down on diaper usage you can let her sit on the potty chair in the morning when she first wakes up.

you have to change the child as needed. with my kids, when they peed once i didnt immediately change them, id let them go at least twice. diapers are expensive (especially when you have twins!)
burping: no matter if it is bottle or breast, they must be burped, if you dont get a bup after about a minute of trying, then it will come out the other way, as a fart (lol)

my child is 10 months and I change her diaper about every 3-4 hours, sometimes longer if she is still dry. Your baby is getting better at controlling his/her bladder and doesn't pee as often. You probably don't need to burp your child because he/she should be able to sit upright while eating/drinking and that should take care of most of the gas....but if he/she acts like they are in pain, go ahead and pat them on the back....you'll only be able to hold them for so long...enjoy it while you can, they grow so fast!

You should change a diaper every time it is wet or soiled. How would you like to walk around with wet (or worse) underwear on? As for burping, of course. You really need to get some help on parenting. Hospitals and schools offer free classes, or you can buy a book on baby rearing. Good luck!

when they need there diaper changed, on average every 3 hrs. they really don't need to be burped anymore at this age, unless they have some sort of gas issues
