I have experienced the deaths of both parents, granddaughter, and other loved ones. Today at the cemetary I thought if I didn't have my faith I would be scarred so badly that I wouldn't be able to function properly. Anyone that has experienced the death of a loved one knows what I am talking about. Thank God for Faith.

Nothing really lightens the burden but knowing that the people you love in your life will be there for you....does help one feel a little stronger....and so maybe in that sense the burden could feel lighter....

Depends on what the burden is. Many times, honesty is the best answer. Honesty and accountability.

Praying, prayer always helps me, because I'm giving my burden to a higher power-God, and then after I pray about it I always feel better once I turn it over to God and let him handle it and not me.

A good sense of humor has saved me from killing the ex when he truly needed it, snapping at my children when they truly did not need it, and giving up when it seemed to be my only option at the time.
