I keep seeing these bugs in my basement. Most I've seen are dead and curled up; they have very little legs and look like centapedes, and when they are alive, they are fast! What are they?? They're about an inch in length and have a width of about a millimeter. They are creepy! What do I do to get rid of them??
I've also seen ladybugs, dead worms, large black mospuitoes, and another kind of bug that is like the one mentioned earlier, but moves like a worm or a slug, expanding and contracting across the floor- it is mch slower. They're the same size and width. What do I do??? This is getting out of control, and I'm getting an increaing aversion to my basement.

I think everyone has some type of bug you've described in they're basement. I had them also. Think about it. Your basement is damp, dark most of the time, it's like a cave. Right?
I sprayed my basement, I vacuumed all the webs out and keep it clean. I in fact sprayed all the ceiling joists with white paint to make it brighter. I then made a quilt making shop out of one side and a woodworking shop on the other. I added another heat zone to the place. Now, I can't get my wife out of the basement it's so cozy.
It's simply keeping it clean, bug free and neat.

the first is correct, but you need to get some damp rid(they sell it at the home depot) to draw out the moisture in the air, then fumigate your basement that will kill the ones you cant see, and that are in the walls and cracks..then spray ortho max killer around the perimeter inside the basement, around where your baseboards go and that sound do it...

Potato bugs look like tiny armadillos and they like rotten wood. Most bugs like warm dark and moist areas.
If you do some remodeling, I'd bet you'll get rid of your bugs. Make sure everything stays dry.
