If your best friend has told you, to your face, that she doesn't like you, then there's a very good chance that she doesn't like you. Your other friend may simply be trying to keep your spirits up by telling you that she likes you, when in reality, she doesn't. However, your best friend may find it embarassing to tell you she does, in fact, like you, so your other friend could very well be telling you the truth.

There really isn't any way to know for sure - if you want a concrete answer, ask her out on a few dates. If she turns you down, she doesn't like you after all. If she doesn't, she may like you - after that, there's a possibility of taking it to the next level.

You gotta make sure for yourself. Just cause someone told you she does...doesn't mean for sure. Be serious and find out for sure. Believe me, I've made the mistake of not finding out and made a total fool of myself when it wasn't true. So be brave!!!

if her friend said she likes you then she probably does. she's just to shy to admit it to you. just give her some time, and she'll admit it adventually, as long as she knows you like her.
