I have been scrapbooking for about 10 years now and unfortunately since I am young and have no children I have scrapbooked and rescrapped all my pictures. I love scrapbooking its my creative outlet and was thinking that I could offere my services to others that may not have the time nor the supplies that I do, But my problem is I don't know how to get started with adverstising, getting my name out there, or what I should charge. So any help would be great....I would love to pass on my skills to others so they can experience and show off their beautiful pictures.

I often see scrap booking classes in community education or whatever catalogues. Maybe you could teach one. Look around online, maybe a senior center or library or after school program would let you teach.

I think if you made packs of themed scrap booking supplies, like beach trip, Christmas, school, etc with the paper cut outs, glue, pens, punches, stamps, and the album and whatnot, that would be cool. People could still make their own book and have fun with it, but they won't have to go and find what they need. You could probably sell them online at like ebay or a website where people sell crafts, it would probably go over well at a craft show too, people love buying things at craft shows.

Yes there are people that like custom albums or what I call pre-made pages. I sell a lot of layouts on ebay. They range anywhere from $20 up. The more detail the more money you can get. Alot of people are interested into the tear bears or vintage layouts. A few layouts sell for over $100 and I have seen them over $200 before too. I myself refuse to buy a pre-made layout for over $39.99. I have also purchased pre-made or custom albums. Most people offer them in a 10 pages (5 layouts) or 20 pages (10 layouts) form. But you don't have to just take my word for it. Go to ebay.com and search pre-made scrapbook layouts or paperpiecings and you will see for your self. I love creating my own layouts and I usually just make 2 and keep one and sell one on ebay.

Besides ebay you could maybe advertise by joining meetups or yahoo groups or make your own webpage but that takes a lot of maintenance and sometimes money. I have passed out business cards at scrapbook stores and I have also hosted a technique class out of my home and posted flyers in the scrapbooking stores. That was fun.

people want to buy them, but dont want to pay u a decent price for the amount of time and materials. plus, there r tons of pages that u just buy predone, crop ur photos n glue em on...takes the fun out of it, but at least it is done, which is more than i can say for most scrapbookers i know! lol

Sorry but the best part of putting together all your pictures is doing the scrapbooking youself.... It just wouldn't be the same if you bought one? But I would still keep going with that thought.

You can let family and friends know you would do this. You can leave notes on bulletin boards at craft stores.
You could teach a continuing community education class.

I would buy them to give as gifts if they are really handmade and not just assembled from stuff you can buy in craft stores.
