I'm looking to get into actual acting and modeling once again but i'm not sure where to start. i look all over the place for a reputable casting call/agency but i'm leery of everything because of the creepy people around these days. Also, i'm only 16, so it's even harder to find something. I used to act and model when i was very young, like 10 years ago. its a long story as to why i stopped but i want to get back into it again. i know that its going to be harder but i'm still willing to take that chance.
does anybody have advice as to how/ where to book a job, even if it is only a casting call or just a suggestion in general?
if it helps, i live in the maryland area now, but i'm from new york and i go back there all the time.
i'd really appreciate serious, not mean/rude answers please!!!

at the moment, i'm still involved in relatively small acting and modeling jobs and i do have previous experience in this area!!!

There are usually many openings in local TV for local actors to do comercials. Call a TV station in your area and ask to talk to marketing dept. and then just ask which agency they use to hire actors for commercials.

The only place you will find, reputable, professional modeling agencies is in New York City. Tell your mom you want to model and if she will take you to NY to register with the top agencies.
