Dario Franchitti won the Indy 500 : how do feel about it : are you happy , sad, mad or neutral ??

I have mixed feelings. Im happy for him cause he does work hard like everyone else and hes on the Andretti team, which is my favorite. And I think he deserves it a little...but i HATE it when its called on account of rain...i dont know...i like it when they finish and win because they won...ya know?

For example, last year when Sam Hornish Jr. passed Marco (i cried by they way....HUGE Marco fan!) he won cause he had an advantage because of the draft and passed him...

I dont know....Dario does work hard and he got to first so....

I just hope Marco wins next year :]

It was great to see him get hte win..Disappointed to see Danica drop back from 3rd but that is racing..What wouldn't have been fair is if they would have called the race after they initially stopped it..They did the right thing, they were able to get the track dry and there was plenty of daylight left so they went back to racing which is what they are supposed to do..I was at Indy when Buddy Rice got the victory in 2004 on a shortened race as well..No bad feelings at all, the best driver at the time won the race..Congrats to Dario.

I agree with one of the above. I'm hapy he won, but they should have gone the distance. I don't care what the back of ticket says. A 500 race, is a 500 race, not 500 - minus potential rain. They've continued the race the next day before, hell, they've even continued a couple 2 days later, so what's the big deal? At least the race gets completed. Ending it the way it did, sounds like something that weasel Jeff Gordon would want if he were leading a Nascar race. It's bad enough it ends under caution, but to have the rain help too? Not right. Things need to change.

Its a 500 mile race.I dont understand why anybody could be upset they didnt stop it.First if you win the race at 267 miles, you didnt really win the Indy 500.Plus I wouldnt want to pay for the race weekend and see half a race.The speedway deserves credit for getting the track dry and restarting the race.Franchitti

If Danica Patrick had stayed out and not pitted like Franchitti did, Danica would have won the Indy 500. She outran him all day long.

Franchitti is a good guy, I'm happy to see him win. I do believe that Kanaan really deserved that race, and I want to see an Andretti in victory lane, but I guess if Michael isn't gonna win it as a driver, he's doing a hell of a job as a team owner.

Actually its just Indy 412.5. I feel sad because I want Michael Andretti to win. He deserves a win at Indy to end his career. Dario won by 'luck'. But overall it was a good race.
