Any ideas on how to tune a MIKUNI BST31SS,single.
I tried to and it burst into flames.

I replaced the float gasket, so its probably not that, but after i messed with it a little bit, it burst into flames, i was on it, but i got away, it still runs even after it burst into flames.

most have set screws one or two one and half turns out is a standard adjustment on most carbs what you do is screw in slowly dont tighten it just screw in til it stop and back out one and half turns you might have to go more but that should get it close has for the fire you have a leak somewhere might have float in wrong

Otherwise, the base settings are 1 and 1/2 turns out on the mixture screw.
