If you forgot to forgot it, then you already have it in the front line of your memory, which means you haven't forgotten it, so there is no action of trying to remember something you already haven't forgotten. Therefore, your answer would be what you forgot remembering.

it's trying to remember what you know you forgot. (you obviously didn't forget that you forgot b/c you're thinking about it and you know that you forgot what it was)
