Heat is a form of energy and can only be measured with a calorimeter or by calculation.
All substances have molecular motion, even down to near Absolute zero. The more heat energy you add, the more those molecules get excited and increase in motion. This is Kinetic Energy and is inherent in everything.

Temperature (How hot or How cold) is measured with a thermometer and, as heat energy is added to a substance its temperature will increase ..It eventually becomes HOT.
This is the addition of 'Sensible Heat' .. (Heating a substance from cold to hot).
The temperature increase also depends on the mass of substance being heated.

When a substance reaches its Boiling Point, no matter how much heat energy you add, the temperature will not increase until all of the substance has Vaporised. (This is the heat you can't measure using a thermometer and is called 'Latent Heat' or 'hidden heat').

(Removal of heat energy has the reverse effect i.e. Condensation (removal of Latent Heat), and Cooling (removal of Sensible Heat).

Hot is just a feeling or how something feels.Where as heat is the "thing" that makes some thing hot. Ex. an electric heater is hot when its turned on because it generates heat.

Everything, in some way, has heat since it's impossible to hit absolute zero. Hot is just a feeling, like if you put your hand on a stove. That would be hot.

Hot is a measure of the intensity of temperature measured in degrees.
Heat is the amount of thermal energy in an amount of substance.
