Anyone know how they keep them in place? What do they do if it *pops* out whilst in space?

This situation is not normally a problem for American Astronauts since recent introductions of NASA flame proof
velcro attachments. The new attachments keep most
personal devices where needed, when needed, until
released or unfastened. In regards to specific devices I
need to determine if you mean the LA-235B, or LA-1611.
The 1611 has been in use for almost 7 years now, and I
rather suspect that model is the one you have heard about.
The 1611 Model also comes equipped with a longer power cord than the 235B which often needed an extension to be
fully operational with -G/H/J Series Suit Liners.

Both units carry Mil Spec and JAN part numbers and can be ordered from supply with the proper approval codes and signatures on your requisition form. For details, photos, and
other information, please contact your Supply Officer.

If an astronaut managed to sneak a butt-plug onto a space flight, then I imagine the space suit itself would keep it in place. To make sure, they could use duct tape, 'cause duct tape works everywhere, even in space; maybe they could even use velcro (TM) if they had enough hair back there. If it popped out whilst in space, just put it back in, unless they're actually on a spacewalk, in which case the dang thing would just be vibrating around in the suit. Sounds kinda dangerous to use in a space suit, probably better suited for when they're strapped into their bed in the sleep module or just floating around in the International Space Station.
