When you consider the total cost of this war both in borrowed dollars and the future committment to wounded troopers and to the families of the dead, not to mention the health issues faced by those who have and will serve in the Iraq Theater, and add that cost to a gallon of gasoline the cost is massive. Consider a better plan. Move on to 21st century technology to keep the wheels on the road...a considerably lower cost horizon than this BushWar for Oil. The best I can say for your question is that it offers a false choice...to get the right answer, you have to ask the right question.

I don't give a damn about gas prices when I have had friends come home in boxes.
I will oppose this war until the last soldier comes home safe. Even if gas prices drop down to 50 cents a gallon.
