No, it is a Nigerian scam, ignore it. Don't send him any reply and don't lose your money.

I wonder how many times we'll get questions about a "Mr. X" who lives at "xyz avenue/rd/drive, Lagos, Nigeria"...(sigh).

This is a standard scam. Delete and move on.

By the way, Nigeria doesn't have zip codes. Those 5 numbers are simply the international dialing code for Nigeria (+234) and Lagos (+01). Since the scammers don't have zip codes, they made up that cute combination to perpetrate the scamming.
