It's easy to be obnoxious when you can hide behind the internet and not have to account for yourself. They're cowards who would never have the guts to rant and rave like this where anybody could see them. If you're asking why they're racists, it's because losers always need to find somebody else to blame for their failures and only feel big when they think they're making somebody else feel small.

Partially because most people to some degree or another have preconceived notions about things that either are or can be construed as racist.
Many opinions come from life experiences, many from opinions that have been programed into them since they were children.
Many people aren't even aware that some of their thought processes are racist.
No one can truly understand another if hey have not walked at least a mile in their shoes and since so many people live and die around the same type of people it is hard to broaden their vision.
Also, many can take criticism and assume that it has a racial overture due to their own preconceived notions, it may not even have been meant that way at all.

Well some of them may not be racist but are typing intentional racist things to be funny. And also whenever we talk about race you step in very controversial territory and any negative fact, even if true, like let's say someone said in the American Education system, blacks are twice more likely to go to college than caucasian students. Now that is putting down whites, but it could turn out with the whole probability thing that might be true. People can be spazzes.

I can't quote statistics, but I'm willing to bet that the number of racists on this board correlates to the number in general society. It is sad but true that there is still widespread ignorance about race issues in the world. And it's made even worse by the many, many people who choose to live their lives in a way that feeds these stereotypes.

So, pull up your pants from around your knees (not necessarily you the asker, but the general 'you'), take off the bling, and conduct yourself in a civilized manner. That is the only way for stereotypes to die...when there are no more stereotypical people.

Its all part of the human race. It's not only here it's all over. You can't expect someone to respect other people until they respect themselves. Through out history there has always been some type of prejudice, race, religion, size etc. Most people are that way because they are afraid of something they don't understand. Some have been brought up that way. Ignore it if you can. Good luck and stay safe.

Probably because they are trying to provoke and intimidate the non-racists. Or they are deliberately trying to make America look more reactionary and bigoted than it really is by being very vocal.

A person is a person. That is very unkind for anyone to feel that way. People need to except others no matter the color, social status and more.
