No they won't partly because their resources are being used up killing people in Iraq and Afghanistan [and I am being sarcastic] and partly because of the situation which occured in Somalia [Black Hawk Down etc].. in the 1990's

They did not involve themselves in the genocide which was occuring in Rwanda in 1994 when almost 1 million Tutsis and moderate Hutus andIwere killed in 100 days and I do not see their policies changing in this respect I'm afraid.

Of course. If we can spend trillions on an immoral, illegal, unjustifiable 'war' in Iraq because we claim we want to bring democracy to that country, WHY can't we get involved in the genocide that goes on in Darfur??
Could it have something to do with cheap, easily-accessible Iraqi OIL?? -RKO- 05/27/07

yes it did not in Rwanda which is said not have any oil or valuable resources. Sudan too. speaking of which the UN could install or help install green power in IRAQ and SUDAN this will get rid of oil and then if conflict continues peacekeeping can begin in earnest or should i say War Keeping who knows.

The great UN is there right now, why aren't they doing something about it?
Why should the US do something if the UN, the savior of the world, isn't doing anything but sitting there watching?
