pickled or cooked beets when you were a kid?

no.. thank goodness.. i still never touch em, my daughter loves them though.. (gotta be from her dad's side) lol.. i was such a picky eater when i was a kid, my parents would make me sit at the table till i ate my food and drank all my milk.. well.. i learned how to be creative, our dog became fat .. used to call her whiskey barrel on legs lol and i had skill so i thought.. they knew i never liked potatoes so would not make a big deal if i did not eat them. As long as i ate everything else.. well.. i learned how to hide all my food under the potatoes (whatever the dog was not around to get) and then mash it all down, whip it up..put it in nice neat little pile lol.. thinkin i pulled one over on em. As for the milk.. after sittin there for an hour goin warm .. yuck gag!! as soon as they walked out into the livin room, or out of sight, it was a mad dash to the bathroom to dump it down the sink.. flush the toilet so they thought i was in there for reason, come back out, sit at table and they would walk in .. good girl, you drank your milk and suppose you've eaten enough, you can go play now .. lol

No. My most hated food was cooked spinach. I couldn't leave the table until I finished and you wonder why kids are sneaky. As soon as everyone left the table I fed it to the toilet.

my mom made me eat instant potatoes, canned corn and instant milk gross gross i to this day have never brought canned veges or instant potatoes or fake milk but then again i won't touch milk
