Is it the lotion or the tanning itself? They're acrylic if that matters. How can I prevent them from discoloring? Ive heard of using vaseline.

There must be something in the tanning lotions because I have had the same problem. You just have to be careful and make sure you don't get any on your nails and wash your hands after applying the lotions.

I'm not sure if you wear color or if you wear a french tip, but try using a UV topcoat this will aid in the discoloration process.

Your acrylic nails or natural nails, either will get discolored from the lotion. Vaseline doesn't really work. Get surgical gloves to put on your hands. You can get it from any drugstore, Target, or Walmart. Ask your dad, he might have some lying around in the garage.

I think it has to do with both the lotion and the tanning. Make sure you put a good amount of sunscreen on your feet and hands and don't put any suntan lotion near you nails.
