Since you're a dancer I'm going to assume you know that you should turn out from your hips and not from your knees :-) You should feel your turn out right through your butt.
Aside from the frog and butterfly you want to strengthen those muscles. Try this:
Lay on your side, with your hips stacked on top of each other. Try to keep your natural positioning as if you were standing (space between your waist and floor, don't sink down). Bend your knees up towards you, so that your feet are in line with your hips. This is actually a common exercise, my teacher calls in the clam stretch. You just turn your top leg out so that it opens up like a clam. Lift/turn as far as you can, really pushing with your turnout muscles, and hold it for a couple counts. Repeat this 4, 8, or 16 times depending on how much you want to do.

Wow, you got some pretty strange answers here??? Anyway, dependent on your age you ether can or cannot improve your turnout. You may never have a 180 turnout no matter what you do. It depends on how you are built. The younger you are, the more you can improve it because your body is more mailable. Most important is to never force your turnout. Never pop your hips. Think of rotating out from your upper thigh when at the barre. Make sure your knees are directly over your toes when you plie. Always think of turning out that way when at the barre or center and try to hold it. Doing frogs can help if you don't force it. Talk to your teacher. She knows best what you are capable of and how to help you.

First of all, do you understand "turnout"? Here is a site which might help you:
http://bongbaby86.tripod.com/id23.html
Please be aware that your turn out is determined by your body and if you force it you will injure yourself. As your barre' work improves so will your turnout. Therefore it is important that you understand why you are doing each exercise at the barre' and what muslces you are working.
Speak with your ballet teacher and ask what is appropriate for your particular body at this particular time. It is most important that you keep your body in perfect alignment. Once again, ask your teacher to help you determine if you are doing so.
Keep dancing!

Besides all the good advise on exersises - give up the habit of sitting with one leg on top of the other. It's considered girly and it is quite comfortable, but it damages your turnout by constantly stretching your hips the wrong way.
