Banks do not cash checks from other banks denominated in foreign currency. I'm not even sure they cash checks from their own banks in a different country if the currency is different.

So, the answer would be no.

I trust you're not purporting to send a check to Nigeria? All the scammers need is your international transfer number and your bank account number. May the Almighty help you if the check also has your full name and address (as I'm sure it does).

Ergo, I think the FBI may soon open a file for you on identity theft or international money laundering.

Delete all emails you receive in this respect and just move on with your regular life...before you lose all your savings!
