She's been on before... don't know if she'll be sitting in all week but imagine so, as this is a short notice situation....

Rosanne (Barr) is said to be sitting in on Tuesday. I didn't see the show today but for my eardrums & eyeballs , better Whoopie than Rossanne- imho

I like Whoopie, I didn't realize she had been on the View before. I will watch for her.

I never thought of her as a replacement for Rosie, but she would be perfect; not only has she had her own half hour talk show, but she is opinionated, intelligent and a perfect political opposite of Elizabeth. She also has won an Academy Award and has starred in her own one-woman show on Broadway. I believe she is highly regarded by A-list celebrities and would bring a refreshing "view" to the show.

She will do great. She is well spoken. Has lots of interesting comments. She used to have a talk show it was on WWOR in New York during the 1990s. Do not know if it was local NY only or a national show.
But, I would like to see her on the show ever so often.

I think it is wonderful that Rosie is going....I think Whoopie is awesome!
It's kind of funny. I wondered how long before them 2 would butt heads.....
Welcome aboard Whoopie! Hope u will stay with "The Veiw"

Just another fanatical left-wing Bush-hating liberal pinhead for Elisabeth to get it on with....a Rosie "clone", just a different color.
She'll last longer than Rosie though (if she becomes a permanent member)...simply because she's black, and any move to get her off the show will be seen as racially motivated.
Good gawd...ABC, nor America, sure don't need Al Sharpton to start his whining again.

She's a strong liberal too, but I hope it doesn't turn into politics again. She's very strong opinioned and will not back down. However, I think she'll be more fair than Rosie was.

Whoopi's a strong opinionated lady, just like Rosie. Elisabeth better watch her scrawny back.

Here we go again!!! It's time that Elizabeth has her own Conservative talk show with her, Ann Coulter, Mary Matilin & Ariana Huffington(The Token Liberal) It's always been 3-4 liberals vs 1 conservative on those other shows.

War having a Conservative network & shows that don't cater to the athiest/socialist/liberal crowd!!!!
