No. When I was younger, I hated waiting for people to call. And I learned that if you expect someone to call, you will be disappointed. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.
As the years grew on, I realized I'm not a fan of the phone. I use it because I need to, but overall, I prefer e-mail or IM's. This way, you can say what you want and that's that.
So I never wait around by the phone. And if I really need someone to call, I call them instead. If they don't answer or don't reply to voice messages in a timely manner, I assume that they are unavailable and I make alternative plans. My time - even if all I'm doing is relaxing - is too valuable to wait for another person. It may sound selfish, but waiting for another person to call when they finally think of it is selfish on their part.

Only when I'm going through a rough time. You look sad, and maybe if you turn the phone off for an hour a day, increase this over a few days, you will realise that life does not revolve around your phone. (Although I know I would be dying to switch it on after a few hours!) Be strong.

No, I get tired of my phone ringing, as a matter of fact, earlier i forwarded all calls to my cell phone today and turned the cell phone off, because i didnt feel like being bothered.

No why would I do that I carry my phone with me and if it vibrates I pick it up maybe you should do the same thing instead of just sitting around doing nothing.

Unfortunately, sometimes... if I'm waiting on someone to call. But... I do multi-task at the same time. 1. Listen to music 2. Fold laundry 3. Surf the web 4. Get ready (changing, putting on makeup, fixing my hair)... just a few examples.
And at the moment, I'm waiting on someone to call...
