as a Mexican American who has been wittness to whiteys racism and discrimination..
I have just learned to shruge it of and even laugh about the stereo typical jokes.. I mean my life is great,, I have a good job ,home ,cars,wife ,and two beautiful daughters who make every day a blessing.... i have also observed that my life is better than alot of white people ,,, so i have learned not to sweat the small stuff.... besides things could be alot worse if i lived in Mexico... than some jack@sses making ethnic jokes
so my question is why so many black people still get offended when some whites crack a few jokes..
wouldnt it have been alot worse if they would have never brought your ansestors to America.. I mean no offence but Africa is a mess right now....
dont you think you should count your blessings instead of always looking for something new to complain about??

I am really suprised to hear you have a really good job. Whatever it is you do, I would surmise it has nothing to do with people skills, making complex decisions, having to think, etc. Are you a roofer maybe.. oh, sorry am I stereotyping?You should worry about sweeping up your own back porch before thinking about somebody else's. You are quite honestly, the dumbest person I have ran into on here. I am white and do not have a problem with blacks in general. Every race has their knuckleheads, whether white, black, or even Hispanic. On an individual basis-yes, there are black people I run into that I don't like, but it has nothing to do with race, just as much as I run into whites I don't like. Its about respect.. And you just happen to be a Mexican and I don't like you. But it isn't because you are mexican, it is because you are narrow-minded, presumptuous, and some-what hateful, you just happen to be Mexican.

You got some nerve. just because you have made it, you think you have the right to judge other people. You don't know me, nor do you know all Black people. You think White people don't complain and you think that they don't give us a hard time as well. They are all so perfect right? Bullsh*t! Let me guess, its just all in our heads. And I count my blessings because that's exactly what they are: Blessings from God. And He is the only person I thank. No White person or any other person on this earth has not given me anything. You can't take your "cars, home, and good job" with you when you die anyway.

Ralphy, you are an individual. You can ask the same question for MANY hispanics who are guilty of the same thing you are accusing black people of. Just because you're life is a bit more up to par, you think suddenly this is ONLY a black issue and you have the right to question blacks on it? I am riding in the same boat you are in, I love my life and have succeeded in many ways unimaginable to some. So does that suddenly give me the right of way to ask Hispanics why they "can't give whites the benefit of the doubt"?

Interesting question. Whites are hardly the only ones making racial jokes, though. Quite the opposite, I'd say. There are FAR more "minority" than "white" comics that make race a topic.

Being a member of "whitey", many black people have given me the benefit of the doubt. Maybe, if you can get past generalizing, you might be able to take us on an individual basis - you know, kind of what you would like for yourself.
