I used to. But he flip flops and now it appears he is learning about politics, the bad kind, too easily. He's toast against Hillbill unless he goes Independent with a strong running mate. Cross party lines for both then lets talk. If he goes VP with Clintons were are screwed. Then he has shown additional lack of backbone. I am really worried here.

No, I don't think Obama will be our next President after people do their own research and check out his record. He is way too leftist for the average American. He has not been in the U.S. Senate long enough to develop too much of a record since he has been campaigning for most of his job. But he does have a record in Illinois Senate.
For example, I don't think that most Americans would support Partial Birth Abortion (a child is 1/2 born and then killed), even if they are for pro-choice (HB382). Obama voted against (3 times) the Born Alive Infant Protection Act (this would protect a late term aborted child who actually survived, and he voted against it)(SB1661, SB1662, SB1663). Obama also voted for taxpayers funding of abortion (HB709, 383)
Voted for raising taxes by 304 million (2004) and proposed raising taxes in Washington by 80 Billion (2004) (Chicago Suntimes 10/15/2004)
He wants to limit salaries for managers in PRIVATE companies. In my opinion the government should not dictate how much a manager should make in a private company - the owner of the company should make that decision.
Voted against the right to defend yourself IN YOUR OWN HOME. He voted against a bill that would prevent a person from getting a fine in defending yourself in your own home (SB2165). A real case where a Wilmett, IL man defended himself in a home invasion whereas he wounded the burgler in his own home. The homeowner faced a $750.00 fine for having a handgun in his own home for protection.
He supports homosexual marriages.
Also, his land deals in Illinois are not on the up-and-up paying a campaign manager more money for his land than it was worth for example.
Also in recent days I really don't like his attitude - criticizing John McCain for instance for going to Iraq to show us a good side of what is going on and visiting markets. He criticized him for having security and wearning a flak jacket. For goodness sake, he was a prisoner of war for over 7 years and to criticize his valour and honor for going and being protected while he was there is just uncalled for and unprofessional.

Obama won't be president, not because he's black and has a name that sounds like it ought to be on the terrorist watch list, but because Hillary has the Democrats' party machine behind her. That's an impossible hurtle for any candidate to overcome.

Sadly I do not believe he will get the election simply because he is African-American. There are far too many people that will refuse to vote for him because of his skin color.
Another reason is he is a relative newcomer to the political scene and many do not even know who he is.

No, I don't think most white Americans are ready to vote for a black president.

I don't think so. He doesn't have enough experience, maybe someday. He seems like he gets tongue tied when he is asked things outside of what he has prepared to speak on. You can see he gets nervous.
